english text below – Die Busbranche ist in Bewegung, nicht nur in Deutschland, sondern europa- und auch weltweit. Das Geschäft mit Elektrobussen boomt, Angebot und Nachfrage führen zu Verschiebungen bei den Marktanteilen. Jetzt meldet sich der vietnamesische Fahrzeughersteller VinFast wieder zu Wort und teilt im Zusammenhang mit den weltweiten Expansionsplänen mit, dass Patrick Oosterveld zum neuen Director of Sales eBus VinFast Nederland ernannt wurde. Der Niederländer kennt das Geschäft, zuvor war er bei BYD und Ebsuco aktiv.

VinFast – ein Mitglied von VinGroup – will nach eigenen Angaben die weltweite Revolution der intelligenten Elektrofahrzeuge vorantreiben. VinFast wurde 2017 in Vietnam gegründet und besitzt in Hai Phong einen hochmodernen Produktionskomplex mit – nach Expertenangaben – weltweit führender Skalierbarkeit und einer Automatisierung von bis zu 90 %. Im Juli 2021 begann VinFast mit der Expansion auf den nordamerikanischen und kündigte auch Aktivitäten auf dem europäischen Markt an.

Die 1993 gegründete Vingroup ist eines der führenden privaten Konglomerate in der Region mit einer Gesamtkapitalisierung von 35 Milliarden USD aus drei börsennotierten Unternehmen. Nun stellen sich die Vietnamesen mit ihrem Elektrobus auf der Busworld im Oktober der Branche vor.In den Expositiehallen van Brussel bzw. Paleizen van de Heizel wird VinFast in Halle 6 zeigen, was zukünftig europaweit für den boomenden Markt der Elektrobusse angeboten werden wird. Mit Blick auf die technische Ausstattung muss sich der E-Bus von VinFast nicht verstecken.

Ob Fahrerarbeitsplatz oder eine komfortable Ausstattung des Fahrgastraumes, VinFast hat für die Elektrobusse für Europa die Messelatte selbst sehr hochgelegt, um von Anfang an zu überzeugen. Was für die Pkw von VinFast gilt, werde auch für die E-Busse angeboten. Ob planbare Wartung oder schnelle Hilfe im Ernstfall – VinFast bietet nach eigenen Aussagen einen bequemen Zugang zu Servicezentren in ganz Europa sowie ein Netzwerk zertifizierter Karosseriepartner für Reparaturen nach Herstellerstandard. Alles rund um den Elektrobus werde ganz einfach über die VinFast App oder mit dem VinFast Support Team geklärt.

Technische Details (inkl. der verbauten Batterien und deren Leistung) sowie die Ausstattung, die bei VinFast – wie bei den E-Pkw eine mehr oder weniger eine komplette ist, würden im Vorfeld der Busworld kommuniziert werden, wie Patrick Oosterveld im Gespräch mit omnibus.news erklärt. Bekannt ist aber schon, dass die Elektrobusse mit Scheibenbremsen vorne/hinten und fortschrittlichen Sicherheitstechnologien wie Antiblockiersystem (ABS), elektronischer Bremskraftverteilung (EBD), Notbremsassistent (BA), elektronischer Balance (ESC), Anti-Rutsch-System am Hang (ASF) usw. ausgestattet sind.

Der Preis würde erst im Rahmen der Busworld, denn dieser werde die Branche aufhorchen lassen, wie der Director of Sales eBus VinFast Nederland mit einem Strahlen im Gesicht erklärt. Damit aber nicht genau, denn auch für das Segment der Midi-E-Busse hätte VinFast etwas Neues, wie Oosterveld andeutet… (VinFast/omnibus.news/Sr)

The bus industry is on the move, not only in Germany, but throughout Europe and worldwide. The electric bus business is booming, and supply and demand are leading to shifts in market share. Now, the Vietnamese vehicle manufacturer VinFast is speaking out again and, in connection with its global expansion plans, announces that Patrick Oosterveld has been appointed the new Director of Sales eBus VinFast Nederland. The Dutchman knows the business, having previously worked at BYD and Ebsuco.

VinFast – a member of VinGroup – says it wants to drive the global revolution of smart electric vehicles. Founded in Vietnam in 2017, VinFast owns a state-of-the-art production complex in Hai Phong with – according to experts – world-leading scalability and automation of up to 90%. In July 2021, VinFast began expanding into the North American market and also announced activities in the European market. Founded in 1993, Vingroup is one of the region’s leading private conglomerates with a total capitalization of USD 35 billion from three listed companies.

The Vietnamese company will now introduce its electric bus to the industry at Busworld in October. In Hall 6 of the Brussels Exhibition Halls and the Paleizen van de Heizel Exhibition Hall, VinFast will showcase what will be offered in the future for the booming electric bus market across Europe. In terms of technical features, VinFast’s e-bus has nothing to fear. Whether it’s a driver’s workstation or comfortable passenger compartment amenities, VinFast has set the bar very high for its electric buses for Europe in order to impress from the start.

What applies to VinFast’s cars is also offered for its e-buses. Whether it’s scheduled maintenance or rapid assistance in an emergency – VinFast claims to offer convenient access to service centers throughout Europe as well as a network of certified bodywork partners for repairs according to manufacturer standards. Everything related to the electric bus can be easily clarified via the VinFast app or with the VinFast support team. Technical details (including the installed batteries and their performance) as well as the equipment, which at VinFast – as with electric cars – is more or less complete, will be communicated in advance of Busworld, as Patrick Oosterveld explains in an interview with omnibus.news.

However, it is already known that the electric buses will be equipped with front/rear disc brakes and advanced safety technologies such as anti-lock braking systems (ABS), electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), emergency braking (BA), electronic balancing (ESC), and slope anti-skid (ASF), among others. The price will also only be announced at Busworld, as this will make the industry sit up and take notice, as the Director of Sales eBus VinFast Nederland explains with a smile.
