Busworld 2025, the leading trade fair for the bus industry, will take place this year from October 4th to 9th in Brussels in the halls of the Brussels Expo, with its striking Art Deco main building and not far from the Atomium. omnibus.news is a media partner and will now report irregularly in advance on what will be happening in the Belgian capital. Highlights from a European perspective include, for example, the battery-electric coach from MAN. The Munich-based brand claims a range of up to 500 km for the MAN eCoach with 50+ passengers. Mercedes-Benz aims to gain market share in the booming BEV intercity bus segment with the eIntouro, which offers a range of up to 500 km. Irizar announced in advance that the ie Tram, the sleek electric bus in the guise of a tram, has been redesigned and promises, among other things, a new interior and improved charging technology for Busworld, which will reduce waiting times by 30%. Will Solaris showcase its new BEV InterCity series in Brussels? The only thing that is certain so far is that the Polish brand, under the umbrella of the CAF Group, will showcase a 10.5m Urbino electric and the second generation of the Urbino hydrogen in Brussels. VDL will use Busworld to unveil the third generation of the Futura series. The Dutch company’s coach will still be powered by a diesel engine for its world premiere, but will also be available in BEV and FCEV versions in the Dutch company’s portfolio afterward. Die Busworld 2025, die Leitmesse der Omnibusbranche, findet in diesem Jahr vom 4. bis 9. Oktober in Brüssel in den Hallen der Brussels Expo mit dem markanten Art-Deco-Hauptgebäude und unweit des Atomiums statt. omnibus.news ist Mediapartner und berichtet ab jetzt im Vorfeld in unregelmäßigen Abständen von dem, was es in der belgischen Hauptstadt geben wird. Schon jetzt, sechs Monate vor Messebeginn, ist klar: Es wird ein wahres Feuerwerk an Neuheiten geben! Diesmal sind es die europäischen Bushersteller, die sich mit ihren Neuheiten gegenüber den Wettbewerbern aus dem Reich der Mitte behaupten wollen und können:
Höhepunkte aus europäischer Sicht sind beispielsweise der batterieelektrische Reisebus von MAN. Für den MAN eCoach nennt die Münchner Marke eine Reichweite von bis zu 500 km mit 50+ Fahrgästen. Mercedes-Benz will mit dem eIntouro im waschenden Segment der BEV-InterCityBusse für sich Marktanteile hinzugewinnen, bis zu 500 km Reichweite biete der eIntouro. Irizar kündigt im Vorfeld an, dass die ie Tram, der schmucken E-Bus im Kleid einer Tram, überarbeitet wurde und verspricht für die Busworld u.a. einen neuen Innenraum und eine verbesserte Ladetechnik, die die Wartezeit um 30% verkürze. Zu weiteren Neuheiten wolle man sich zu gegebener Zeit äußern…
Ob Solaris in Brüssel die neue BEV-InterCity-Baureihe zeigt? Fest steht bisher nur, dass die polnische Marke unter dem Dach der CAF Gruppe in Brüssel einen 10,5m kurzen Urbino electric und die 2. Generation des Urbino hydrogen zeigen wird. VDL wird die Busworld nutzen, um die 3. Generation der Futura-Baureihe zu enthüllen, der Reisebus der Niederländer fährt zur Weltpremiere noch mit Dieselmotor vor, ist aber auch danach auch als BEV- und FCEV-Variante im Portfolio der Niederländer.
