english text below – Am 23. Januar kommunizierte omnibus.news auf Grundlage der Zahlen des Kraftfahrtbundesamtes die Elektrobus-Neuzulassungen >3,5t des Jahres 2024 für Deutschland. Nun gibt es die Zahlen für ganz Europa, die DVV Media Group, in der Buswelt mit den Fachtiteln NaNa Nahverkehrs-Nachrichten, dem Expertenmedium NaNa-Brief und der Fachzeitschrift Der Nahverkehr vertreten, recherchiert hat. Seit April 2024 gehören die Statistiken und Analysen des europäischen Busmarktes von Chatrou CME Solutions zur DVV Media Group. Jetzt ist das E-Bus-Jahr 2024 ausgewertet, nun gibt es für die Elektrobus-Neuzulassungen in EU 27 mit UK, ICE, NO und CH valide Zahlen.
Nicht nur das: Mittlerweile erscheinen auch E-Mini- und Midibusse sowie das Segment der Alternativen Antriebe als eigene Analysen. Wahlweise als Jahres- oder Quartalsbericht und, auf der Höhe der Zeit, auch als E-Book. So lassen sich monatliche Registrierungsübersichten erstellen oder auch die Zulassungen nach Monaten verfolgen, um saisonale Trends und Nachfrageschwankungen besser verstehen zu können. In Excel-Tabellen aufbereitet können die Datensätze mit Filtern belegt werden, sortiert und nach individuellen Bedürfnissen analysiert werden. So werden auf einem Silbertablett quasi umfassende Daten zu Busmodellen, Herstellern, Antriebsarten (Diesel, Elektro, Hybrid), Anwendungen (z. B. Stadtbusse, Reisebusse) sowie technischen Spezifikationen wie Achszahl, Sitzplatzkapazität oder auch Fahrzeuggewicht geleifert.
Zurück zum Jahr 2024: Fakt ist, dass die Zahl der Neuzulassungen im Segment der Elektrobusse >8t in Europa stetig weiter angestiegen ist, seit 2020 mit deutlichen und steten Zuwächsen Jahr für Jahr: Von 2020 mit 2.062 Einheiten auf 2021 mit 3.282 Einheiten. Im Jahr 2022 waren es 4.152 Einheiten, im Jahr 2023 dann 6.354 Einheiten. Für das Jahr 2024 haben die Statistiker der DVV Media Group in ihren Unterlagen die Zahl von 7.843 Einheiten ermittelt. Nichts ist so beständig wie der Wandel, behaupteten sich 2023 mit MAN (785) und Solaris (725) sowie Yutong (483) auf den ersten drei Plätzen des Siegertreppchens, so sind dort in 2024 nun Yutong (1.092), Mercedes-Benz (918) und Iveco Bus (821) auf den Plätzen 1.-3. zu finden. Die chinesische Marke war schon ein Jahr zuvor auf dem Siegertreppchen angekommen und hat nun den Spitzenplatz geholt.
Dem EU-Austritt geschuldet ist die Tatsache, dass die irische Marke Wrightbus trotz guter Zulassungszahlen beim Ranking in Europa für den europäische Markt im Ranking nicht auftaucht. Zählt man Wrightbus aus Irland mit, dann bescheren 861 neue Elektrobusse der Marke den 3. Platz. Besonders in Großbritannien, aber auch immer mehr auf dem Festland findet Wrightbus entsprechende Abnehmer. Diese und weitere Zahlen werden unter dem Titel European Bus Data von der DVV Media Group angeboten und erweitern das Portfolio aus Jahres- und Quartalsberichten auf Basis der Zulassungsstatistiken in allen europäischen Ländern.
Ergänzt wird das Angebot um Sonderberichte zum Beispiel zu alternativen Antrieben. Die Tabellen und Grafiken in den Berichtsbänden ermöglichen einen detaillierten Blick in die Marktentwicklungen und Marktanteile nach den einzelnen Ländern, den verschiedenen Fahrzeugsegmenten, den jeweiligen Herstellern sowie im Zeitverlauf. Was lässt sich Dank der Zahlen der DVV Media Group erkennen? Bushersteller von Elektrobussen, die aus der EU kommen, haben rückblickend in den letzten Jahren erhebliche Marktanteile verloren, wie auch eine Analyse der niederländischen Rabobank auf Grundlage der Zahlen der DVV Media Group bestätigt.
Nun erobert mit Yutong zum ersten Mal ein chinesischer Hersteller das Ranking der E-Bus-Neuzulassungen in Europa. Das verwundert nicht, denn auf der Busworld 2023 gab es ein wahres Feuerwerk an E-Bus-Neuheiten, die eigens für den europäischen Markt entwickelt wurden. Ob zehn Meter E-Doppeldecker, 18m langer E-Gelenkbus oder auch schon ein E-Reisebus, Yutong hat ein spannendes Portfolio für Europa mitgebracht. Und die chinesische Marke zeigt nicht nur E-Busse, sondern liefert diese auch schnell, wie das Beispiel der Übernahme der Verträge der insolventen belgischen Marke Van Hool zeigt – zweistellige E-Überlandbusse, die in Belgien bestellt wurden, wurden von Yutong pünktlich zum Konzessionsbeginn ausgeliefert. Looking back, bus manufacturers of electric buses from the EU have lost considerable market share in recent years, as confirmed by an analysis by the Dutch Rabobank based on the figures from the DVV Media Group. Now, for the first time, a Chinese manufacturer, Yutong, has conquered the ranking of new e-bus registrations in Europe. This is not surprising, because at Busworld 2023 there was a veritable firework display of new e-buses that were specially developed for the European market. Whether it was a ten-meter e-double-decker, an 18-meter-long e-articulated bus or even an e-coach, Yutong has brought an exciting portfolio for Europe. And the Chinese brand not only shows e-buses, but also delivers them quickly, as the example of the takeover of the contracts of the insolvent Belgian brand Van Hool shows – double-digit e-intercity buses that were ordered in Belgium were delivered by Yutong on time for the start of the concession.
