UPDATE 24.09.2025 | english text below – In drei Wochen startet die Busworld! Fast 550 Aussteller haben sich 2025 angemeldet, 85 davon präsentieren in Brüssel neue Linien- Überland- oder Reisebusse. Aber auch Midi- und Minibusse, VIP- und Shuttlefahrzeuge und autonome Omnibusse sowie alle relevanten Antriebsarten sind angekündigt. Über 300 Omnibusse werden ausgestellt, dazu noch die Produkte der Zulieferindustrie. Das „Who’s Who“ der Buswelt trifft sich vom 4. bis 9. Oktober 2025 in der belgischen Metropole. „Ausgebucht, die Busworld Europa 2025 ist ausgebucht!“, wie Mieke Glorieux als Veranstalterin der Messe mit Stolz gegenüber omnibus.news erklärt.
Auch wenn sie in Europa stattfinde, so Glorieux, die Messe sei ein globaler Marktplatz für Fahrzeughersteller, Systemlieferanten und Innovatoren und weit über die Grenzen Europas hinaus bekannt und geschätzt. Mehr als 300 Redner werden zu sechs Themenbereichen sprechen, unter anderem über emissionsfreie Omnibusse, autonomes Fahren, Digitalisierung und die Zukunft des Reisebusses. Am 8. und 9. Oktober findet die Zero Emission Bus (ZEB) Conference mit Fokus auf Technologien, politischen Rahmenbedingungen und betrieblicher Umsetzung der Dekarbonisierung im europäischen Personentransport statt. Neben den Omnibussen und Kongressen sowie Konferenzen sind es auch 2025 wieder neue Komponenten, Systeme und Dienstleistungen, die die Besucher zu sehen bekommen.
Ganz neu ist bei dieser Busworld die digitale Plattform „Busworld Plaza“, die als Ergänzung zur Messe den Austausch zwischen den Veranstaltungen unterstützen soll. Die Busworld Europe 2025, so die korrekte Bezeichnung der 1971 unter dem Namen „Car et Bus“ ins Leben gerufene kleine Fachmesse für den BeNeLux-Markt, ist heute die wichtigste Messe der Bus- und Reisebusindustrie in Europa. Seit 2005 sind Bushersteller aus China dabei, in diesem Jahr dominieren sie quantitativ und wollen mit vielen Weltpremieren in allen Bereichen zeigen, dass Omnibusse und die Zulieferindustrie aus dem Reich der Mitte dem anspruchsvollen Markt in Europa mehr als gerecht werden können. Update 20.09.2025: Busworld 2025 kicks off in three weeks! Almost 550 exhibitors have registered for 85 of them, presenting new regular-service, intercity, and touring buses in Brussels. Midibuses and minibuses, VIP and shuttle vehicles, autonomous buses, and all relevant drive systems have also been announced. Over 300 buses will be on display, along with products from the supplier industry. The „who’s who“ of the bus world will meet in the Belgian metropolis from October 4 to 9, 2025. „Busworld Europa 2025 is fully booked!“, Mieke Glorieux, organizer of the trade fair, proudly tells omnibus.news.
Even though it takes place in Europe, Glorieux says the trade fair is a global marketplace for vehicle manufacturers, system suppliers, and innovators, and is known and appreciated far beyond Europe’s borders. Busworld Europe 2025, the correct name of the small trade fair for the BeNeLux market, launched in 1971 under the name „Car et Bus,“ is now the most important trade fair for the bus and coach industry in Europe.
